Hans Christian Andersen Museum. The house where the renowned fairytale author was born is located in the old quarter of Odense. The Hans Christian Andersen’s House Museum opened in 1908 and presents the life and work of the famous poet. It is one of the oldest poet’s museums in the world.\nSlip out behind the house and watch fairytales come to life on the stage in Lotzes Have (Graden). In the summer months, you can also watch daily performances of the Hans Christian Andersen Pageant, where the full version of one of the fairytales is acted out on the extensive open air stage.
