In Mammoth Cave Kentucky you’ll discover the world’s longest known cave system. More than 350 miles of the vast chambers and winding rock tunnels and trails have been explored in Mammoth Cave and countless more remain untouched. Plus, there's canoeing and kayaking on the Green and Nolin rivers that flow through the park. Early guide Stephen Bishop called the cave a "grand, gloomy and peculiar place," but its vast chambers and complex labyrinths have earned its name - Mammoth.
