INS Vikrant was a huge aircraft carrier, which played an important role in the 1971 war of India-Pakistan. After the war, the aircraft was docked at the naval dockyard in South Mumbai in Colaba and was converted into a museum open to the public. Aircraft, naval charters, helicopters, and many war weaponry was on exhibit. Now the regular museum is shut but if you happen to visit Mumbai during the months of November and December, you can visit this Museum which opens to the public.
