Description

Sahra al-Beida (called the “White Desert” in English) is a barren stretch of white rock spires and chalk towers. It’s located in Farafra, an area inhabited mostly by bedouins. This desert is an area of 300 square kilometers of wind eroded limestone and chalk rock formations, similar to waves or animals. A true white paradise where silence and wind direct the waves of this great sea of sand called Sahara.
